General Instructions for Islamabad Police Jobs

• It is unacceptable to permit any candidate a reduction in height, pectoral size, or age.
• It is mandatory for candidates to furnish precise information. As stipulated in sections 420/468/471 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the dissemination of false information carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.
• A statement to the effect that the applicant has not been implicated in any criminal case or activity is required in the affidavit. The applicant shall not be permitted to apply for police positions in the future, and legal action shall be taken in the event of a false affidavit.
• Transgender applicants are permitted to submit their applications in accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and the gender specified on their CNIC, on the basis of their self-perceived gender identity.
• Personnel of the government who meet the eligibility criteria may submit an application via the proper channels.
• Candidates presenting an application based on a family claim are required to furnish comprehensive supporting documentation, including but not limited to a pension book and retirement order, during the interview process.
• Selected candidates’ academic credentials and moral integrity will be examined. The candidate shall face legal repercussions, immediate withdrawal or cancellation of the selection process, and discharge or dismissal from service (if discovered after employment) in the event that fraudulent or false information is disclosed, or if a criminal record is discovered.
• The website of the ICT Police offers comprehensive details pertaining to the locations of examinations. The exclusive authority to assign a center for a candidate resides with ICT Police.
• In addition to bringing their own water container, candidates are recommended to wear runners or other suitable footwear for the endurance test.
• A written examination will be administered exclusively to those candidates who not only satisfy the physical and endurance prerequisites but also succeed.
• Those who successfully complete a test or stage qualify for the subsequent one. Failure to pass any stage or examination will result in ineligibility for the next phase or stage.
• During the interview process, the physical standards of candidates will be assessed by the Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) and its personnel. In the event that any inadequacy is detected, the candidates will be disqualified from ICT Police recruitment and subject to legal consequences. The order of the DRB is irrevocable.
• A comprehensive medical examination will be conducted on candidates by the medical board/civil surgeon of the Federal Government prior to the ultimate selection process. Applicants failing the medical examination will be disqualified in the event that their vision falls below 6/6. Candidates who also have Hepatitis B or C, or any other chronic illness, will be automatically disqualified.
• The chosen candidates are required to adhere to the policies and guidelines set forth by the government regarding behavior, penalties, advancement, retirement, and additional related issues.
• On the written, physical/endurance, skill, and interview examinations, TA/DA is not permitted.
