Eligibility Criteria of Latest Pak Army PMA Long Course

  • The PMA Long Course is open to citizens of Pakistan and those domiciled in Azad Kashmir or Gilgit-Baltistan.
  • The acceptance of registrants is restricted to males.
  • The weight must be determined by the body mass index, and the height must be 5 feet, 4 inches (162.5 centimeters).
  • Candidates who have achieved a minimum of 55% in Intermediate (FA/FSC) or its equivalent are eligible to register. Additionally, graduates who have achieved a minimum of 60% marks and 50% marks in FA/FSC are eligible to submit an application.
  • Active-duty Army personnel who have successfully completed the FA/FSC or its equivalent with a minimum score of 50% are also eligible to register.
  • Mental and physical fitness are prerequisites for the candidate.
  • The candidate must be in excellent health.

Hope Certificate

In 2022, individuals who have successfully completed the FSC Part-1 and Advanced Subsidiary examinations may also file for a Hope Certificate with a score of 55 percent, provided that the institution’s head has issued the certificate. Candidates with FSC scores below 55% and Advanced Level grades below A-C will not be considered eligible for admission to the subject course in the absence of the FSC, A-level, or equivalent final result certificates.

Verification of Marks Sheet/ Certificate

The candidate who possesses duplicate or revised mark sheets or certificates from their matriculation, intermediate, or BA/BSc courses is required to obtain a verification certificate from the Secretary or Controller of Examinations of the relevant board or university.

An equivalency certificate is not necessary for candidates with a cumulative grade point average of 55% who are registering for admission in Pakistan. Candidates with fewer than three Cs in A-level or equivalent examinations from Pakistan or abroad must receive an equivalency certificate from the Inter Board of Chairman Committees (IBC).

  • Regardless of the outcome, a TCC candidate who has completed the ISSB and applies to the PMA extended course is considered a repeater.
  • Repeat applicants are required to attend preliminary examinations at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) between May 17 and May 27, 2024.

Selection Process of Pak Army PMA Long Course 152

The following selection procedure must be completed in order to enroll in the Pakistan Army’s PMA 152 extended course:

Registration Process of Pak Army PMA Long Course

There are two registration phases. Register online or visit the Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs) in your vicinity.

Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive notification regarding the subsequent entry exam schedule at the ASRC of your choosing.

Initial Test

The initial examination comprises sections on General Knowledge, Non-Verbal, and Verbal. Upon successful completion of the examination, you will be required to submit to a physical examination.

Physical Test

Each candidate is required to satisfactorily conclude each engagement. A medical examination will be scheduled subsequent to the successful completion of the physical examination.

Initial Medical

Preliminary medical examinations will be administered to candidates. An ISSB Form will be issued to you upon successful completion of your exams.

Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB)

Candidates who have been chosen will participate in a five-day ISSB examination that will assess their mental and physical capabilities.

Final Medical

This is the final stage in the process of selecting candidates who will be subjected to final medical examinations.

Interview

The candidates will be interviewed by a qualified National Security and War Course brigadier at their designated AS&RC, who may be the AS&RC commander.

Each candidate will receive a score out of a maximum of 20 points. The subsequent guidelines are stipulated for the conduct of interviews:

Required Documents for Pak Army PMA Long Course

  • Matric, FA, FSc, or Equivalent Certificates/Mark Sheets.
  • If the applicant is at least 18 years old, they must present a national identification card. A computerized Form B and a parent or guardian’s computerized ID card are required for applicants under the age of 18.
  • A single set of attested copies of the enumerated documents.
  • Principal/Class One The front and back of three passport-sized, color photographs were attested by a gazetted officer.
  • In addition, “repeater candidates” are required to submit both the original and a copy of “not recommended” letters from Inter Services Selection Boards (ISSBs).
  • Old national identification cards will not be recognized.

Ineligibility Conditions of Pak Army PMA Long Course 152

  • It was denied by the Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) on two separate occasions.
  • Individuals who fail the initial test (Int/Academic) three times are ineligible for subsequent PMA L/C.
  • Exclusions from the Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) on two separate occasions.
  • The examination must be administered within four months (120 days) of the candidate’s most recent appearance before the Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB) if a waiver has been granted by the competent authority.
  • A person who has been terminated, dismissed, or disqualified from military or government service.
  • Any egregious crime that has been convicted in a court of law (to be determined by the military authority with jurisdiction).
  • The patient has been irrevocably declared UNFIT (PUF) by the Appeal Medical Board (AMB). He has been declared unsuitable by all Armed Forces Hospitals, with the exception of those that have been approved by the Appeal Medical Board. The Pakistan Air Force allows candidates who are medically unfit for flying to undergo routine medical examinations as normal candidates if they wish to enter another branch of the armed forces.
  • Declared medically incapacitated as a result of Hepatitis B and C (unable to request an AMB).
  • Expelled from any college or institution of the Armed Forces.
  • Any withdrawal, discharge, resignation, or commission purchase from a military academy or training facility.
  • In order to obtain an unfair advantage, any applicant who falsifies alters or conceals their academic credentials will be permanently disqualified from receiving any form of commission in the Armed Forces.
  • A candidate who tests positive for narcotics at CMHs, Military Hospitals, or AFIP is permanently ineligible to join PMAs or Training Institutions.
  • The potential of natural officers is assessed during the ISSB Selection process. Coaches on ISSB exams generate numerous personality traits that contradict one another and have a detrimental effect on selection chances. If a candidate is identified as having received training from a private coaching center, they will be ineligible to apply for commissions.

Pakistani Nationals Residing Abroad

  • The Preliminary Selection procedure is not mandatory for international candidates. Nevertheless, Defense Attaches will verify their general suitability, stammering issues, and physical deformities. Candidates must correspond with Pakistani Embassies (Military/Defense Attaches) in their respective countries of residence to submit applications.
  • The Application Forms and associated documents must be transmitted to Pakistani embassies by July 15, 2022. A Rs. 100 postal order and a Rs. 500 bank draft payable to the Director-General Personnel Administration at General Headquarters Rawalpindi must be submitted with a completed application.
  • To ensure that candidates receive correspondence and examinations/interviews from the Inter-Service Selection Board (ISSB) at their Pakistani addresses, applications must also include their addresses. There will be no reimbursement for travel to or from Pakistan.
  • Note: The remaining candidates will be considered for the next Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course entry if the number of selected candidates exceeds the required number of inductions, provided that they satisfy all of the prerequisites.
